So this is a news story I stumbled across forever ago that I meant to kind of rant about and somehow it just kind of got lost in my giant, ever shifting, to-do stack. The main thrust is that despite Ray Bradbury’s dislike of technology and the e-book format, his iconic book “”Fahrenheit 451″ has been published in the format. Back on January 15, 2012 Dawn Hunt had a book signing for her great cookbook “Tastes From the Temple” at Muse Gifts & Books. That meant one wonderful thing, it was back to Marlborough, NH! Click on in for cookbook shopping, tie wearing phrenology heads, vegetarian Reubens, and more!

It’s that hopefully exciting time of the year again when I give the rundown on some of my favorite things of the past year! This year I take on Oprah, do a video interview with the Mystic Pyramid, and even manage to talk a little bit about some of my favorite things of 2011!

You may think that we’ve entered the month of November, but actually, we’re now in the month of Movember! That’s right folks, it’s that time once again when I talk about The Movember Foundation and the work they do!

Marlborough, NH is a two and a half hour drive for me to get to, so a bit far to try and visit on a regular basis. With just the little bit I saw and experienced I’m envious of those who live closer than that. And if you do live close to Marlborough and you don’t visit, you’re an idiot.

I was at Wal-Mart recently and was immediately struck by a big ol’ display filled with pink and pink ribbon embossed merchandise. I turned to my husband and said, “It’s almost October.” Since it is now October and we’re in the thick of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it is time once again that I ask you all to “Think Before You Pink”.
